2012-13 USA Rugby Women’s All-America Team Nomination Form

USA Rugby is proud to honor deserving women’s rugby players by selecting an All-America team for the 2012-13 academic year. Candidates may be nominated by their Conference Commissioner, League Officer, or Head Coach. Players from throughout the country and from all divisions are eligible for recognition (I, II, NSCRO). Recipients will receive commemorative certificates to mark their accomplishment.

Nomination Deadline: Friday, June 7, 2013

Criteria

• Present year rugby achievements
• Impact on the team
• Success of the team
• Sportsmanship and attitude
• Eligible per USA Rugby College guidelines
• Nominating team/conference must be in good standing with USA Rugby
• Player may be in her first, second, third, fourth or fifth year of eligibility
• Player must be nominated by her conference/league or coach
• Player must have participated in 2/3 of teams total games
• Nomination deadline and guidelines must be met for consideration - NO EXCEPTIONS

Nomination

• The official nomination form is available via the link below and online (http://usarugby.org/college-resources).
• Nominate each candidate on a separate form.
• Each conference or league may nominate a maximum of fifteen (15) players.
• Coaches may nominate a maximum of five (4) players from their own team.
• Nominations must be submitted online and received by the nomination deadline.
• All deadlines are firm. NO exceptions will be made.

Selection

The All-America review panel will rank the top players considered as All-America Team finalists. From this list, the First, Second and Honorable Mention teams will be determined.
