The University of Mississippi Rugby Football Club is a university club sport that competes against teams all over the South Territory. Ole Miss Rugby enjoys many successes on the field and off with their hands in many worthy causes for the community of Oxford, Mississippi. The Ole Miss RFC competes in the Southeastern Rugby Conference against teams such as Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Florida, etc. Our matrix consists of teams in the SCRC West Division. The University of Mississippi has been very helpful in providing the OMRFC with top facilities to improve and increase the long history of our team.
Rebel Rugby was founded in 1974 with many of the founding fathers still contributing today. Our vast OMOB (Ole Miss Ole Boys) network stretches over the course of 4 decades and coast to coast with a few international ties. With many awards such as in Division III South Runner -Up in 2003, in Division II South Finalists in 2006 and 2007, we are currently looking to improve on our accomplishments in Division I-AA.

Prospective Players

"We invite players of all experience levels to our team. Whether you have played all your life or have watched a match and want to give it a try we encourage you to join the Rebel Rugby squad. We practice every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4-6pm. The only thing you will need to bring with you is a pair of cleats and a mouth guard. We compete in two seasons, the Fall is set-up to increase player potential and experience. The Spring season is our Matrix season in which we compete nationally for a shot at the National Championship."
