COLLEGIATE ALL-STARS EYE ALL-AMERICAN SELECTION IN PITTSBURGH, GLENDALE

BOULDER, Colo. – The best college rugby players in the country will convene in Pittsburgh, Penn. and Glendale, Colo. this weekend for the Emirates Airline USA Rugby 2011 Men’s and Women’s Collegiate All-Star Championships.  The women’s All-Star competition will take place at Founders Field in Pittsburgh and the men will meet at Infinity Park in Glendale, Colo.

One All-Star team from each of the seven Territorial Unions (TUs) will take part in the competition.  All-Star players are currently enrolled in or recently graduated from college. 

In addition to the recognition of outstanding play during the regular season, these players will have a chance to prove themselves to All-American and National Team selectors who will be watching closely as these elite college athletes battle it out on the field.
