TOKYO -- It was a thriller from start to finish and the USA came out on top. The early pressure by the Eagles in the first half and some opportunism in the second gave the USA a 24-22 win over last week's Cup finalists Wales in the Tokyo Sevens opener.
Although a few pieces of luggage were lost along the way, the Women’s Eagles Sevens arrived safely in China earlier this week in preparation for the IRB Women’s Sevens World Series’ Guangzhou Women’s Sevens, scheduled for March 30-31.
