A native of Zimbabwe, Takudzwa "Zee" Ngwenya has been with Biarritz since 2007 and contributed greatly in several Heineken Cup appearances. He made his U.S. National Team debut in 2006 with the Sevens, and later represented the U.S. at the 2007 and 2011 Rugby World Cups. It was at the 2007 Rugby World Cup where Ngwenya was awarded the honor of scoring the "Try of the World Cup" by outpacing, famed winger, Bryan Habana, a Springbok known for his speed. In 2013, Ngwenya became one of only 4 Americans to be invited and play for the Barbarians, an invitational team comprising of the top rugby talent from around the world.
