2015 NDS Featured Presenters: Chris Brown, Mike Friday, Pete Steinberg

With USA Rugby National Sevens Director Alex Magleby and 15s High Performance Manager and AIG Men's Junior All-American Head Coach Billy Millard already scheduled to present at the 2015 National Development Summit in Chicago, three additional members of national team coaching staffs will speak at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare hotel and conference center.

The National Development Summit, previously hosted in Costa Mesa, Calif., and Philadelphia, will be held in the "Windy City" Jan. 23-25, 2015. Coaches, referees, and administrators from around the country and the world will have the opportunity to network and learn about the latest in rugby development.

New Men's Eagles Sevens Head Coach Mike Friday and Assistant Coach Chris Brown will present in Chicago before they leave with the Eagles for New Zealand and Wellington Sevens, the fourth leg of the 2014-15 World Rugby HSBC Sevens World Series.

Friday and Brown worked together with the Kenyan national team during the 2012-13 Series, improving the side's standing on the circuit from 12th to fifth in just one season. Friday is also the only sevens coach to have won four consecutive Hong Kong Sevens Cups, a feat he accomplished with England. Brown has worked with several other national team coaching staffs, including Fiji's 15s team, Canada's sevens team, and Namibia's 15s team during its preparations for IRB Rugby World Cup 2011.

Women's Eagles Head Coach Pete Steinberg led the U.S. to a sixth-place finish at the IRB Women's Rugby World Cup 2014 in Paris this August. Steinberg will be a part of a special set of NDS presentations about the 2014 Women's World Cup and discuss the current state of women's rugby.

"The professionalism and knowledge displayed by our Eagles coaches ranks among the best in the world of rugby," USA Rugby Youth & High School Director Kurt Weaver said. "Attendees at this year's Summit will not want to miss a single presentation."

The 2015 National Development Summit agenda and full list of presenters will be announced next week. For more information and to register today, visit the National Development Summit event page.
