Committee formed to oversee Women’s Collegiate All-Americans

BOULDER, Colo. - USA Rugby's Collegiate Department is excited to announce the formation of a committee tasked with overseeing the selection process of the Women's Collegiate All-Americans beginning with the current 2015-16 season.

The committee, whose members will be formally announced in the coming weeks, will be actively scouting teams and individual players, while also reviewing all submissions to the Women's College All-American Nomination Form. All-American forms, which are encouraged to be submitted by any player or coach who sees value in the process, must include a video containing at least one half of a match in which the player competed.

Members of the committee will pursue women's Division I, II, and III matches within their region, while video nomination forms will be reviewed based on committee members' positional expertise. The Women's Eagles coaching staff, while not active members of the committee, will have access to athlete nomination forms in order to deliver input to the committee as well as evaluate players for potential inclusion in the women's national team pathway.
