Glendale’s Infinity Park perfect for Championship rugby and more

GLENDALE, Colo. - Infinity Park is the epicenter of RugbyTown USA, or better known to some as the City of Glendale. Equipped with a 4,000-seat rugby stadium to go along with a second full-length pitch outside of the stadium, it is no surprise USA Rugby is thrilled to bring the June 4-5 Club Championships back to Infinity Park for a second consecutive season.

Built in 2007, the immaculate facilities at Infinity Park quickly helped build two of the finest rugby teams in the nation - the Glendale Raptors Men's and Women's Rugby Clubs. Beyond the glitz and glamor of the state-of-the-art lighting, video board, and audio systems, the stadium's amenities include locker rooms, a clubhouse, and a weight room. Given the many features that leave most every rugby club drooling in envy, it is little surprise the Raptors have attracted some of the very best men's and women's rugby players in the country.

Infinity Park not only hosts USA Rugby events and home matches for the men's Pacific Rugby Premiership's Raptors and the Women's Premier League Raptors sides, but additional rugby tournaments such as NSCRO National Championships and the 20-team international event - Serevi RugbyTown Sevens.

Everyone in the greater Denver area not hooked on rugby - yet - make gatherings like Monday Movie Madness and Glendale's Bruises and Brews Beerfest excellent excuses to enjoy Infinity Park beyond rugby matches.

Next up on Infinity Park's calendar is the June 4-5 Club Championships. Three of the five National Championship matches will take place Saturday June 4, when Life West contends with reigning champion Wisconsin for the Women's DII title, followed by the Women's DI Final featuring Chicago North Shore and Seattle Saracens, and concluding with a match pitting Austin Blacks versus Mystic River for the Men's DI National Championship.

Club Championship action will resumed Sunday at noon MT when Euless Texans square off against Fairfield Yankees in the Men's DIII title game. The fifth and concluding championship match will see Detroit Tradesmen contend with Tempe Old Devils for the Men's DII crown.
