Florida Finishes Matrix Season, Carolinas/Georgia and True South Seasons Wind Down

Florida's regular season is now in the books, while there is still plenty to play for throughout the rest of the south.

Women's Division II

The Fort Miami RFC shut out the Tampa Bay Krewe 92-0.  Mary Leigh Miller the Krewe Women's president had the following to say about Tampa's loss.  "It was a hard-fought game. With no subs, we made them work. Everyone on our team had hands on the ball, made tackles, rucked. And more importantly, we never gave up."

Meanwhile, the Jacksonville Sinners ran all over the Indian River Raptors with a 77-0 blowout.

In the Truth South, the Memphis Blues sank Mobile's Battleship RFC with a 43-10 win.

Men's Division II

Only one D-II match took place this past Saturday in the Southern Region of USA Rugby.

In the Carolinas/Georgia division, Life's Running Eagles D-II side clobbered Clemson's City Elite 104-5.
