Atlantic North Recap: Fiery Weekend up North

With another weekend of league matchups set in the books, we are going to take a look at all the action that took place in the Atlantic North divisions.

Men's Division I
In this week's highly anticipated match, Old Blue took on Life once again in the season finale.  Old Blue was looking to remain perfect in this affair as they entered 5-0, and Life was looking to provide the lone blemish to their season.  Life was entering this match 4-1, so expectations were high for this matchup and it certainly did not disappoint as this one went down to the wire in favor of Old Blue 48-40.  This win solidified Old Blue as the division I champions.

For the other division I matchup, NYAC took on Boston foe Mystic River.  Both teams were looking to finish their seasons on a high note, but in the end Mystic River prevailed striking first and not looking back resulting in a 41-26 victory.  This brought Mystic their first victory of the season placing them at 1-5, while it put NYAC also at 1-5 for the season.

Women's Division I

In the first matchup for the division I play, Northern Virginia traveled up to Albany to take on the Albany Sirens.  In a muddy match, this one was all Northern Virginia as they cruised to a 48-5 victory over the Sirens.
