A former Captain of the Men's Junior All-Americans (U20s), a Men's Collegiate All-American and USA Men's Select (XV), Malon Al-Jiboori's success in rugby is undeniable.

He made his international Sevens Series debut at the 2016 Singapore Sevens tournament and was selected for the 2017 Silicon Valley Sevens developmental tournament the following year. From there Jiboori earned a spot with the Men's Sevens for the 2018 Dubai Sevens where he became a consistent presence through the season.

In early 2018, Jiboori took a short break from Sevens to try his hand at 15s. He earned his first cap and debut try simultaneously during the Men's National Team's Americas Rugby Championship match against Chile. Shortly after, he returned to the Sevens side for the home stop of the 2018 Series in Las Vegas, helping the Men's Sevens win their first ever cup title on home soil.
