In 2016, following the Men's Eagles Americas Rugby Championship victory over Canada at Dell Diamond, Cima helped the Men's Junior All Americans cement their place in the World Rugby U20 Trophy by successfully kicking a final-second 50+ meter penalty against the Canada Juniors.

At the U20 Trophy tournament in Zimbabwe, Cima did it again. This time nailing a 45-meter kick to defeat Uruguay. Cima made his first senior appearance with the USA Rugby Selects at the Americas Pacific Challenge in October 2016 and was invited to camp with the Men's Eagles for all five of their 2017 Americas Rugby Championship matches.
