Cam Dolan started playing rugby in High School and was a member of the USA Rugby U17 and U18 teams in 2007 and 2008, respectively. He was a four-time Collegiate All American at Life University where he also won a D1A Rugby National Championship (2013).
As a college freshman, Dolan was named captain of the USA Men's U20 team at the 2009 World Rugby Trophy. He also later captained the USA Rugby Selects at World Rugby's then developmental 2013 Americas Rugby Championship tournament. He led the USA to a 2-1 finish with wins against Canada and Uruguay.
Dolan earned his first cap with the USA Rugby Men's Eagles later that year on June 19 against Fiji in Japan. Following successive starts for the Eagles in 2013 and 2014, he signed a contract with the Northampton Saints of the Aviva Premiership. After a full season with the Saints, Dolan signed on with Cardiff Blues, joining fellow Eagle Blaine Scully in Wales. Dolan will captain the Cardiff Blues in the 2015 Anglo-Welsh Cup.
