Played softball, basketball, soccer, and ran track in high school. Played softball for the George Washington University where she was an NCAA All-Region and Co-SIDA Academic All-American, as well as 5-time team captain and 5-time team MVP. Played professional softball for the Mid-Michigan Ice before beginning bobsled in 2007. Made the US National team in 2007 as a brakeman and won a World Championship silver medal in 2009 with driver Shauna Rohbock. In 2010, Meyers won an Olympic bronze medal with driver Erin Pac. She then converted to a driver in 2010 and won a World Championship bronze medal in 2012 and a World Championship silver medal in 2013. This past season, Meyers finished 2nd in the overall World Cup ranking. Meyers won an Olympic silver medal in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

Meyers is currently pursuing an MBA in finance from Keller Graduate School of Devry.
