Javelet played field hockey for University of Louisville and was a member of the National Field Hockey team from 2006 to 2009. She was a three-time All-American, three-time Academic All-American, and NCAA Woman of the Year finalist in 2007. Javelet played professional field hockey in Germany for six months and coached field hockey at St. Joseph’s University. She won two Women’s Football Alliance championships with the San Diego Serge and Chicago Force. Since making her debut on the Women's Sevens Series circuit at Atlanta 7s in 2014, Javelet has moved up to sixth all-time in points scored by an American with 70 tries to her name. Following the 2015-16 season, Javelet was named to Team USA's 12-player Rugby Sevens squad for the Rio 2016 Olympic Summer Games.
