Originally from Canada, Jordan Gray began playing rugby at Centennial (Calgary) High School in 2007 where she was a multi-sport athlete who won “Athlete of the Year” honors in both rugby and women’s basketball. Exploding on the scene with BYU in 2011, Gray has astounded coaches, teammates and audiences with her abilities on the pitch throughout her playing years.

In her collegiate career, Gray helped the Cougars advance to their first-ever national championship during the same year they were officially adopted into the school’s sports program. She played on the U.S.’ U20 National team in 2012 and 2013, earned First Team All-America honors in 2014 and was one of only seven college rugby players named to the Super Series in 2015, earning 3 caps at No. 8.

Already a decorated athlete, Gray was named “College Player of the Year” by Rugby Breakdown in 2016 when she made her USA Rugby debut. After earning an MVP honor at the Women’s Premiere League Championships that same year – helping the San Diego Surfers to a championship victory – Gray caught the attention of Women’s Eagles Sevens’ Head Coach Richie Walker and made her HSBC Series debut during Japan 7s in 2017. A place on the roster for the 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cup would follow, along with a strong run during the 2017 Dubai Sevens Tournament that saw the Eagles reach the semifinal and final, respectively.
