Megan foster began her decorated career in rugby at Chico State University in 2011. In 2014 she earned her first Collegiate All-American honor playing 15s, which was followed by two more All-American honors in both 15s and 7s in 2015.

In 2016, she helped her squad to a D2 National Championship where she was also named Most Valuable Player. Towards the end of her collegiate career, she earned her first national cap with an appointment to the squad for the Women’s Rugby Super Series that same year. While 2016 was already a big year for Foster, she increased her achievements by being selected to the USA Rugby Women’s National Team Fall Tour; which she followed in 2017 by helping her team win the plate at the Women’s Elite 7s Tournament in Las Vegas.

That same year, Foster had impressed her way to a selection for the Women’s Rugby World Cup player pool where the Women’s Eagles finished in fourth-place just before Foster made her HSBC World Sevens Series debut. Suiting up for the 2017 Dubai Sevens Tournament, Foster and the Women’s Eagles Sevens finished in second-place and were credited with the biggest upset of the weekend for their win against New Zealand.
