Pat Blair began playing rugby in 2004 for Fullerton Lions in California. Early in his career, Blair was selected to two USA Rugby AIG Men's Collegiate All-Americans 7s tours, which included a Cup win at the 2013 Serevi RugbyTown Sevens at Infinity Park in Glendale, Colo.

Quickly making a name for himself, Blair exploded on the sevens scene at the 2013 Gold Coast Sevens Tournament, moving on to make additional appearance during the remainder of the 2013-14 HSBC World Sevens Series.

A few years later, Blair earned his first cap as a reserve with the Men's Eagles at the 2016 Americas Rugby Championship match against Chile.
